Job Overview and key duties (agile)

  • Responsible for purchasing activities from requisition to receipt in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Director to ensure site procurement activities align with vendor agreements and expectations.
  • Working with Planning and Inventory team members to ensure consistency of our supply chain.
  • Manage the movement of materials, goods, and products (including imports and exports) to meet production demand effectively.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of business operations, vendor seasonality, and production constraints to optimize lead times and drive process improvements.
  • Work with the Supply Chain team to enhance supply chain, planning, and logistics activities, and update variables in the ERP system for efficiency.
  • Evaluate ordering and stocking strategies across the division to stay within budget guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of ERP system.
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external teams for information exchange and order management.
  • Ensure compliance in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of staff and visitors.

  • Support adherence to corporate policies.
