Job Title: Sales and Operations Execution Manager
Location: Lee's Summit, Missouri, Forsyth, GA, Shelbyville, KY or Leominster, MA
Role Overview: The Sales and Operations Execution Manager will lead the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of our company's S&OE and/or Master Production Planning processes. This pivotal role will focus on tactical and operational planning horizons, driving enhanced planning standardization and controls across the supply chain to include leveraging our ERP system across the 10 sites in North America.
Job Overview and key duties (agile)
- Coordinate with Sales & Operations Planning Manager during the transition from Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to S&OE process.
- The role is expected to drive S&OE/Master Production best practice.
- Accountable for setting high standards of rigorous planning execution, striving for excellence, root analysis and continuous improvement.
- Accountable for training / coaching S&OE practices and processes using the ERP system across all sites.
- Own group S&OE processes, driving improvements in KPI reporting/delivery, root cause analysis and systemic action planning.
- Lead S&OE or Master Production planning process execution across all sites, ensuring a robust planning cycle performed (daily/weekly)
- Accountable for inventory for all materials, components, and finished goods across North America driving reduction projects in line with company goals while supporting customer demand.
- Managing tactical & operational horizons across North America, focused on short term planning and OTIF.
- Lead allocation planning of short-term resource constraints (capacity, raw materials, labor) working in collaboration with site relevant resources.
- Responsible for driving improvements and adherence to defined S&OE planning frameworks at all levels of the business.
- Collaborative, highly driven, motivated to continuously improve, removing barriers, and demonstrating resilience in the delivery of business KPI’s.
- Biased towards process control, standardization, and the reapplication of best practice across North America.
- Accountable for inventory reduction projects to ensure working capital targets are delivered.
- Key member of the Aged Inventory Review process with emphasis on reduction of obsolescence and write off risk through systemic corrective action.
- Role model the company's values and principles in all aspects of work.
- Support ongoing training initiatives to enhance team skills and competencies.
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent operational experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in S&OE or Master Production Planning, specifically in manufacturing operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be an agile leader.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving operational excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
- Experience in supply chain planning within multiple ERP systems; IFS experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in managing supply operations in multi-site, multi-product manufacturing environments.
- Advanced data analytic skills, including expertise in analyzing data trends, forecasting, and classifying data.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; familiarity with Business Analytics and Microsoft Power BI is advantageous.
- Ability to set strategic direction, develop strategic plans, and lead change management initiatives to achieve success.
- Commercial and financial acumen, with expertise in multisite P&L management.
- Proven ability to lead and implement change, structure, and process improvements, fostering continual cultural, technological, and operational transformation.
- Knowledge of M&A led growth and integration, with experience in conducting global business operations.
- Effective collaboration and teamwork skills, capable of working across multiple functional areas.
- Willingness to travel, with an expected commitment of 30% of working time for business-related travel.
