The Warehouse Team is looking to fill the role of Forklift Driver in their Shelbyville, Kentucky facility. The primary responsibility of the Forklift Driver is to keep production stocked with materials required for production, accessories, move finished goods, and load outgoing products on semi-trailers.

The Shelbyville site is the largest manufacturing site for IPL’s Returnable & Environmental business unit in the United States; a business which has annual revenue of approximately $110m with significant growth potential and is part of the Environmental, Returnable and Industrial Solutions (ERIS) Division of IPL.

Position Title: Forklift Driver

Location: Shelbyville, Kentucky

What you will bring to the role:

A reliable, dependable candidate who will bring a team player mindset with the ability to work autonomously as needed.

The successful candidate will:

• Have 0-2 years of forklift experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Be able to inspect, load and/or unload all incoming/outgoing finished goods, raw materials and accessories in a safe and efficient manner
• Verify production counts and remove production from WIP [work in progress] in a timely manner
• Perform a final quality check on all finished goods before being stored or shipped
• Conduct all preventive maintenance on forklifts per the preventative maintenance schedule
• Report all quality, production, and equipment concern immediately
• Comply with good safety and housekeeping practices
• Identify and report any safety hazards
• Pre-shift inspections are conducted on equipment as per OSHA/location regulations
• Ability to conduct regular physical inventories
