IPL Hull was built in the millennium year and there are employees working today who witnessed the first brick being laid! Our Hull location is an experienced leader in the injection and blow moulding industry housing state of the art blow moulding machines and a modern fleet of injection moulding machines. IPL Hull takes initiative on providing eco-friendly solutions and pride themselves on delivering products specifically tailored to their customers' needs. Key products include the “One Nest” stacking crate, jerry cans, Water Butt, composter, kerbside boxes, food waste containers and nestable bale arm trays.

A brand-new vacancy has a arisen for a Supply Chain Administrator to join the team at our Hull site.

This is an ideal opportunity to join us at an exciting time in a role that provides administrative support to our Purchasing and Planning operations within the function.

This is a hands on role, in which you will be integral to key stages of our supply chain process, collaborating with colleagues from across the business in order to achieve timely results.

Please note that this is a full-time role, based from our site on Hedon Road (HU9).

Key responsibilities include:

· Creating accurate job packs based on the production plan, liaising with relevant stakeholders and distributing essential paperwork to ensure timely production targets are achieved

· Ensure documentation is stored accurately for immediate reference

· Assist with the raising and placing of purchase orders with the appropriate supplier

· Produce accurate reports, both regular and ad-hoc, including expected consumption and pallet availability

· Monitor the internal production system (InTouch) to ensure activities are in line with the production plan

· Update the supplier contact information in the supplier order portfolio and ensure this is continuously managed

· Undertake regular stock reviews on consumables/non-inventory parts

· Support with queries relating to delayed stock arrival and account invoicing

About You

Ideally, you will have experience from working within an administrative role, preferably from a supply chain environment.

You will have an excellent standard of IT literacy and numerical reasoning, including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.

Exposure to MRP/ERP systems would be advantageous, though not essential.

You will have excellent attention to detail and will be able to plan and prioritise your workload across various demands on a given day.

Notwithstanding your skills and experience to date, you will be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders with a confident and professional manner.
