We are looking for: a Senior Financial Accountant for our branch in Lommel.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Taking care of accurate monthly and year-end closing (IFRS and BE GAAP), including reconciling the accounts and taking the necessary actions/corrections in case of discrepancies

•Intercompany AR and AP reconciliations, inventory, obsolescence, goods in transit, capitalization

•Updating cost prices in ERP system and rolling of BoMs

•VAT declarations, Intrastat and statistical reports for review by FC

•Posting and maintaining evidence of general ledger transactions

•Preparation for review of monthly reconciliations

•Preparing reports on financial fluctuations

•Aid FC in preparation of monthly and quarterly divisional reporting

•Working under the supervision of the FC preparing ad hoc reports for local and divisional management teams

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•Relevant third level qualification in Accounting

•Previous experience in a mid level accounting role

•Good MS Excel proficiency and experience of an ERP system/ transaction and journal posting

•Ability to summarise and explain financial information

•Good English language skills
