Position Title: Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Phoenix, Arizona location is looking to fill the role of Warehouse & Logistics Manager in their manufacturing facility. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall supply chain management and includes organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction; along with managing the Shipping Coordinators and warehouse staff. This position is responsible for year-end physical inventory and managing the flow of information and paperwork to ensure timely shipping and compliance.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service.
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
  • Liaise and negotiate with transportation companies to produce the best rates.
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
  • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
  • Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
  • Oversee management of all freight systems.
  • Maintains all files and records related to shipping operations.
  • Coordinate all Receiving functions.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

The successful candidate will:

  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience, at least 3 years required.
  • Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and manage staff.
  • Proficient in standard logistics software
  • Prior work experience with WMS systems and use of RFF scanners a plus.
  • Prior experience with UPS and FedEx systems a plus.
  • Ability to navigate the TMS system to negotiate transportation.
  • Prior work experience with an ERP system
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift – certification provided on-site.
  • Reliability and good attendance are imperative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with shipping staff, multiple departments and carriers/vendors.
  • Time management, planning, and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team and maintain good working relationships with co-workers
  • Math aptitude – ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
